Grow your business by advertising on local Facebook Community Boards

Post on local Facebook Community Boards regularly. It’s FREE advertising to locals in your area, direct into their facebook feeds.

Do you share news, adverts or updates about your small, yet mighty business to Local Facebook Community Groups?

If not… why not? It’s FREE advertising to locals in your area, direct into their facebook feeds.

Here are a few quick tips to follow when posting about your business:

  1. Engagement is essential: Be active in the local Facebook community by commenting on posts, answering questions, and offering helpful advice. Building relationships with other members can increase the visibility of your business and create a positive reputation.

  2. Share interesting and useful content: Instead of just posting adverts, share authentic content that showcases your business’s personality, values, and offerings. This could include behind-the-scenes glimpses, customer testimonials, or stories about your journey as a business owner.

  3. Offer exclusive deals: Provide special offers or discounts exclusively for members of the local Facebook community. This can incentivise people to support your business and create a sense of exclusivity for yoour local area that encourages engagement.

  4. Use eye-catching visuals: Incorporate eye-catching visuals such as high-quality images or videos to grab attention in the Facebook feed. Visual content tends to perform better on social media and can help your posts stand out from the competition. Don’t forget to be true to your brand.

  5. User-generated content is the pinnacle: Encourage your existing customers to share their experiences with your business on the community board by creating hashtags or running contests. User-generated content not only provides social proof but also increases engagement and organic reach.

But… they all have different rules.

Many Facebook Community Boards become rather big and full of business owners, and they (quite rightly) come with often confusing rules and regulations on when you are allowed to “advertise” with them.

TIP: You can almost certainly share useful content and engage with the community at anytime. However, for the straight out business offers, adverts and contest if you don’t follow the rules, you can be faced with post deletion or even a permanent ban.

Oh, hey I’ve got your back…
